[Abstract]:In the initial linguistic study, the process of human cognition usually goes through the process of naming things before classifying them. This process is reflected in the debate of sound and meaning in the first place, followed by the discussion of category. The former is represented by the dispute between "name" and "reality" in the Spring and Autumn and warring States period and the "essence" agreement "in ancient Greece, while the latter is the category concept, alias, common name discussion and classical category theory of ancient Greece during the Spring and Autumn and warring States period. This similarity between Chinese and Western linguistic studies is determined by the convergence of society, thought and even cognitive background. However, due to different language types and different literary traditions, Chinese is a semantic language that lacks lexical changes. The western language is a grammatical language with rich changes in lexical form and a tradition of literary research which attaches importance to the change of lexical form.
