钱歌川翻译教育研究

【摘要】：钱歌川是学贯中西、博古通今、著译等身的散文家、翻译家、翻译研究家和英文教授。然而,相对于钱歌川的译者身份,如今国内许多学者将重点放在了其生平轶事、散文创作、翻译思想、基础英文推广运动等方面的研究,而对其如何通过翻译实践开展教育教学活动等内容却关注甚少。本文考察了钱歌川一生的翻译教育活动,笔者首先从译者翻译能力的培养、语言学习效果的检验、翻译的性质以及读书、教书、写书三者的关系和"译出"翻译等角度解读了钱歌川的翻译教育思想。其次,本文探讨了钱歌川"以翻译为中心"的系列教育教学活动,其中包括英文教科书的编译,译注的编写以及外国文学作品的译介。关于英文教科书的编译,本文主要分析了其系列构成,进而解读了钱歌川是如何通过双语教科书及译著开展英语教学、翻译教学及品德教育;在译注编写方面,本文从教育学、语境观、"深度翻译"、方言翻译、转译及文化翻译等多个视角对钱歌川的译注做了全面的解读,阐释了钱歌川通过译注进行的语言教学、翻译教学以及文化教育;关于外国文学作品的译介,本文主要探讨了钱歌川翻译题材的选择,并从社会、历史、文化传播、人生观价值观的引导等角度探讨了其西方文艺作品译介的目的和效果,进而指出钱歌川的著译作品不仅为中国读者打开了通向西方文学世界的大门,同时更为重要的是起到了传播先进思想、教书育人和改造社会的作用。
[Abstract]:Qian Ge-chuan is an essayist, translator and professor of English. However, compared with Qian Ge-chuan 's translator status, many domestic scholars now focus on his life anecdotes, prose creation, translation thoughts, basic English promotion movement and so on. However, little attention has been paid to how to carry out educational and teaching activities through translation practice. This paper examines Qian Ge-chuan 's translation education activities throughout his life. The author begins with the cultivation of translator's translation ability, the test of language learning effect, the nature of translation, the study and teaching. The relationship among the three writing books and the translation of translation explain Qian Ge-chuan 's educational thoughts on translation. Secondly, this paper discusses Qian Ge-chuan 's "Translation-centered" series of educational activities, including the compilation of English textbooks, the compilation of translation notes and the translation and introduction of foreign literary works. On the compilation of English textbooks, this paper mainly analyzes the composition of its series, and then explains how Qian Ge-chuan develops English teaching, translation teaching and moral education through bilingual textbooks and translated books. In the aspect of translation writing, this paper makes a comprehensive interpretation of Qian GE Chuan's translation from the perspectives of pedagogy, context view, "deep translation", dialect translation, translation and cultural translation, and explains Qian's language teaching through translation notes. Translation teaching and cultural education; With regard to the translation and introduction of foreign literary works, this paper mainly discusses the choice of the subjects of Qian Ge-chuan 's translation, and probes into the purpose and effect of the translation and introduction of Qian's western literary works from the perspectives of society, history, cultural communication, and the guidance of his outlook on life. It is further pointed out that Qian GE Chuan's translation works not only open the door to the western literary world for Chinese readers, but also play a more important role in spreading advanced ideas, teaching and educating people and reforming society.
