裨治文的《广州方言中文文

【摘要】：十九世纪前中叶,随着裨治文的到来,美国拉开了新教传教士来华传教的序幕。越来越多的传教士来华后,面对的第一个问题就是学习当地的语言,以便传教。裨治文是美国来华的第一人,他对美国的汉学发展奠定了坚实的基础,为美国了解中国做出了重要的贡献,同时也为汉语走出中国走向世界,发挥至关重要的作用。裨治文身集传教士和汉学家的双重身份,让他能在美国历史上留下浓墨重彩的一笔。因此,现在有越来越多的学者开始研究裨治文,无论是从晚清在华传教士的角度,还是从福音在中国传播与发展的角度,都有大量研究文章。但是,却很少有文章是从世界汉语发展教育史的角度进行研究。本文将试着从世界汉语教育史去研究裨治文在华的一生以及其编写的第一部粤语教材《广州方言中文文选》。本文在绪论部分先回顾历年各位学者对裨治文本人及其作品的研究现状,以及指出研究中的不足之处。在各种各样研究关于裨治文的文章中,鲜有人提及裨治文所编写的粤语教材《广州方言中文文选》,所以,对于作为语言教材的《广州方言中文文选》的研究有待深入。因此本文从第一章开始交代裨治文的个人经历及生平,且其个人经历对后面编写教材的影响。第二、三章就是对美国人编写的第一部粤语教材进行全面的考察与分析。结合当时当地的历史社会背景,进一步研究探索裨治文与其作品《广州方言中文文选》在世界汉语教育史上的地位及影响。《广州方言中文文选》作为美国人撰写的第一部语言教材,而且教授的语言还是广州的方言——粤语,对粤语的传播和发展起到了不可替代的作用。在文章最后,作者将裨治文对《广州方言中文文选》这一教材的价值做出相应的评价,指出当今教材的可借鉴之处以及教材的局限性。
[Abstract]:In the middle of the nineteenth century, with the arrival of Paizhi, the United States began the prelude of Protestant missionaries coming to China. More and more missionaries come to China, the first problem is to learn the local language, in order to preach. As the first American to come to China, he laid a solid foundation for the development of American Sinology, made important contributions to the understanding of China in the United States, and also played a vital role in the Chinese language coming out of China to the world. His dual identity as a missionary and a sinologist enabled him to make a strong mark in American history. Therefore, more and more scholars have begun to study Phuzhiwen, not only from the perspective of missionaries in China in the late Qing Dynasty, but also from the perspective of the spread and development of the Gospel in China. However, there are few articles from the perspective of the history of the development of Chinese education in the world. This paper will try to study the life of Paiji Wen in China from the history of world Chinese education and his first Cantonese textbook selected Chinese in Guangzhou dialect. In the introduction part, this paper first reviews the current research situation of the author and his works, and points out the shortcomings of the research. Among all kinds of articles about au Chi, few people mention the Cantonese textbook "Guangzhou dialect Chinese selections", so the study of Guangzhou dialect Chinese anthology, which is a language textbook, needs to be further studied. Therefore, this paper begins with the first chapter to explain the personal experience and life history of au Zhi Wen, and the influence of his personal experience on the later compilation of textbooks. The second and third chapters are a comprehensive survey and analysis of the first Cantonese textbook written by Americans. Combined with the local historical and social background at that time, To further study and explore the status and influence of au Chi Wen and his works, selected Chinese in Guangzhou dialect, in the history of Chinese education in the world. As the first language textbook written by Americans, the anthology of Chinese in Guangzhou dialect is the first language textbook written by Americans. Moreover, the language taught is the dialect of Guangzhou-Cantonese, which plays an irreplaceable role in the dissemination and development of Cantonese. At the end of the article, the author evaluates the value of the textbook "selected Chinese language in Guangzhou dialect", and points out that the textbook can be used for reference and the limitations of the textbook.
