帕尔默文化语言学视角下的英汉动物隐喻对比研究

　　隐喻是人们日常生活对话及写作中普遍存在的一种语言现象,也是人们的一种思维方式,更是人们创造新的语言表达的重要手段以及了解和认识世界的认知工具。关于隐喻的研究有着很长的历史,最早可以追溯到古希腊时期,亚里士多德在他的经典作品《修辞学》和《诗学》中第一次对隐喻现象做了系统的研究,自此以后的很长一段时间里,人们将隐喻单纯地看作一种修辞手段,主要作用是使语言更具有说服力和诗意。莱考夫和约翰森从认知理论出发阐释了隐喻的更为重要的认知功能使得对隐喻的研究有了全新的视角,也引发了更多学科领域对隐喻的关注和研究。动物隐喻,指的是含有动物形象的隐喻。很多学者研究过动物隐喻。动物在人类的生产生活和社会发展中扮演着重要角色。动物与人类的关系如此紧密使得人们倾向于通过动物形象传达自己的观点与情感。因此,在人类语言中存在着大量有关动物的表达和隐喻。动物隐喻增强了语言的表现力和感染力,也反映了人们对世界的认知。一些学者已经做出过对动物隐喻的对比研究,但是主要建立在语义理论以及认知理论上。帕尔默将人类语言学的部分理论与认知理论进行有机结合形成了文化语言学。本文尝试使用文化语言学的核心观点对英汉动物隐喻做出对比研究。...
