【摘要】：乔伊斯·卡罗尔·欧茨(Joyce Carol Oates,1938-)是美国当代著名的小说家,曾屡次获得诺贝尔文学奖的提名。她的第二十二部小说《狐火:一个少女帮的自白》(1994)一经出版便广受好评,被认为是她作品中“情感最强烈和最不惜笔墨”的一部小说。《狐火:一个少女帮的自白》讲述了美国上世纪50年代的一个少女帮派不甘忍受男权社会的压迫用暴力复仇的故事,表达出作者对女性遭遇的同情和男权社会的批判。许多评论家都从女性主义、成长小说、暴力及复仇的角度对这部小说进行了详尽的分析和阐释,本文运用创伤理论的视角并结合文本细读来分析小说中的创伤与复原。本文首先分析了狐火少女的创伤以及成因,她们的创伤主要体现在家庭创伤和暴力创伤两方面,而来自男权社会和阶级社会的双重压迫是导致创伤的根本原因,通过揭示男权社会下女性的悲惨遭遇,反映了作者对社会现实的批判;接着探究了狐火帮成员们各自艰难的创伤复原之路,表达了作者对女性创伤复原的关注和思考;最后论述了这部小说在女性创伤复原之路上起的积极作用。与其它创伤研究的不同之处在于,本文是对一个群体的创伤成因和复原进行了文本分析,本身就具有一定的社会性,并且这与欧茨一贯关注小说人物背后的社会、政治、道德环境的创作目的不谋而合。作者借助叙述者,书写了美国上世纪50年代女性的集体创伤,揭示了在充满男性霸权的社会大环境下女性的生存困境,试图唤醒女性的自我意识,告诉她们如何战胜痛苦,走出创伤的阴霾。
[Abstract]:Joyce Carol Oatesi (1938-8) is a famous contemporary American novelist. She has been nominated repeatedly for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Her 22th novels "Fox Fire: a Girl gang's confession" (1994) have been well received since their publication. It is considered to be a novel in her work "the most emotional and most generous". The confession of a gang of Girls tells the story of a gang of teenage girls in the United States in -50s who was unwilling to endure the oppression of a patriarchal society and revenge with violence. The author expresses the author's sympathy for women and criticism of patriarchal society. Many critics have made detailed analysis and interpretation of the novel from the perspectives of feminism, growth novel, violence and revenge. This paper analyzes the trauma and recovery in the novel from the perspective of trauma theory and text reading. Firstly, this paper analyzes the trauma and its causes of fox fire girls. Their trauma is mainly reflected in the family trauma and violence trauma, and the double oppression from the patriarchal society and class society is the root cause of the trauma, by revealing the tragic experience of women in the patriarchal society. Reflecting the author's critique of social reality; Then it explores the difficult ways for the members of the Fox Fire Gang to recover from the trauma, and expresses the author's concern and thinking about the recovery of female trauma. Finally, it discusses the positive role of this novel in the recovery of female trauma. The difference between this novel and other trauma studies is that this thesis is a textual analysis of the causes of trauma and recovery of a group. There is a certain sociality in itself, and it coincides with the creative purpose of Oates' constant attention to the social, political and moral environment behind the novel characters. This paper describes the collective trauma of women in -50s in the United States, reveals the plight of women in the social environment full of male hegemony, tries to awaken the self-consciousness of women and tells them how to overcome the pain.
