[Abstract]:Subway is the sixth novel by black writer Coulson Whitehead. The author faces the tragic history of American slavery and explores the eternal theme of freedom and human rights.By analyzing the documentary value, ideological value and cultural value of the novel, this paper probes into its rich cultural connotation and publishing significance.
