论莫迪亚诺小说的碎片化叙事

【摘要】：法国作家帕特里克·莫迪亚诺(Patrick Modiano,1945—)是一位极具个人特色的作家。他创作的一系列作品并没有连贯的故事主线,取而代之的是以叙述者的行踪为线索,串联起一个个记忆的碎片。因此,“碎片化”成为莫迪亚诺小说的主要叙事风格。碎片化叙事指的是小说情节由散乱的“碎片”组成,这些碎片看似杂乱无章实则密切相关。本篇论文从莫迪亚诺小说的碎片化叙事入手,分析该作家的叙事特色。本文从叙述者的形象与视角、叙述者是否可靠、叙事时间、叙事空间四个方面来论述莫迪亚克的碎片化叙事。论文的第一部分以分析叙述者为主。莫迪亚诺小说的叙述者大多记忆残缺,为读者呈现了一个个断裂的片段,而产生这一现象的原因和叙述者失去真实身份的遭遇密切相关。随着寻找遗失的记忆来填补记忆的空白,叙述者的口述是否可靠则是第二部分关注的焦点。正是因为叙述者所掌握的事实有限,所以依靠他们还原事实的真相是个不可能的任务,但是在追寻记忆的过程中得到的感受才是意外的收获。第三部分分析混乱无序的叙事时间,莫迪亚诺的小说的叙事时间错综复杂,使故事情节断裂。多层次的叙事时间重在反映人生的变幻无常,营造神秘的气氛。第四部分主要分析虚实难辨的叙事空间,意在说明昏暗的空间与叙述者处于社会边缘的状态相契合。本论文以叙事学理论为主,考察莫迪亚诺小说的碎片化的叙事特征,揭示选用这种叙事风格对主题意蕴的影响,进一步理解莫迪亚诺所建构的独特的文学世界。
[Abstract]:French writer Patrick Modiano (Patrick Modiano,1945-) is a writer with great personal characteristics. A series of works he created did not have a coherent storyline, but instead took the whereabouts of the narrator as a clue and connected up fragments of memory. Therefore, fragmentation has become the main narrative style of Modiano's novels. Piecewise narration refers to the fact that the plot of the novel is composed of scattered "fragments", which seem to be disorganized but are closely related. This paper starts with the piecewise narration of Modiano's novels and analyzes the narrative characteristics of the writer. This paper discusses Modiak's piecewise narration from four aspects: the image and perspective of the narrator, the reliability of the narrator, the narrative time and the narrative space. The first part of the paper focuses on the analysis of narrators. Most of the narrators of Modiano's novels have incomplete memory and show readers broken fragments, and the causes of this phenomenon are closely related to the loss of true identity of the narrator. As we look for lost memories to fill the gaps in memory, the reliability of the narrator's oral statement is the focus of the second part. It is precisely because the narrator has limited knowledge of the facts that relying on them to restore the truth is an impossible task, but the feelings gained in the pursuit of memory are the unexpected gains. The third part analyzes the chaotic narrative time, the narrative time of Modiano's novels is complex, which breaks the plot of the story. Multi-level narrative time focuses on reflecting the fickle of life and creating a mysterious atmosphere. The fourth part mainly analyzes the narrative space which is difficult to distinguish between false and real, in order to explain that the dim space coincides with the state of the narrator at the edge of society. Based on narratology, this paper examines the fragmentary narrative features of Modiano's novels, reveals the influence of this narrative style on the theme implication, and further understands the unique literary world constructed by Modiano.
