【摘要】：自二十世纪八十年代以来,全球化进程迅猛前进。随着全球化进程的进一步渗透,在东西方夹缝中求生存的新加坡人们既面临着东西方文化的交流和冲撞,又深感他们身份认同困惑的加剧和强烈的身份认同危机感。这些均促使他们对一个全新身份认同归属的诉求。鉴于新加坡新生代女作家陈慧慧(Hwee Hwee Tan)及其作品在国内外研究的缺失状态,本文以全球化为研究背景,以身份认同相关理论为依据,从文化的视角探讨了陈慧慧第二部小说《玛门公司》(Mammon Inc.)中主人公所面临的身份认同问题即身份认同困惑,身份认同危机,身份认同寻求及身份认同重建等尤其是文化身份问题。《玛门公司》主要讲述了一位牛津大学毕业的新加坡女孩在全球化的背景下所面临人生抉择时的困惑,经过深思熟虑后,她最终选择了世界上最大的跨国公司之一——玛门公司,找到了自己的身份归属。文章由以下七部分组成：第一章是引言部分,涉及到了本文的研究背景、研究目的、研究意义及其方法论、文章框架等内容。第二部分为文献综述,包括对作者、此小说及其国内外研究现状及相关理论的阐述。第三部分系文章正文部分的开始即全球化在小说中的体现,从两个方面即玛门公司和其提出的三个测试,揭示了全球化在此文本中的展现。第四部分是对身份认同困惑的研究。通过对主人公身份认同困惑的分析,折射出在全球化的冲击下,当代新加坡人的身份认同困惑越演愈烈。第五部分涉及全球化对身份认同造成的影响,揭示了在全球化的影响下,新加坡人的身份认同困惑已演变成身份认同危机,由此导致自我身份认同的迷失。第六部分由身份认同觉醒和身份认同重建构成,凸显出新加坡人们面对身份认同的困惑和危机,渴求与重建身份认同归属的迫切性。最后一章由结语组成,总结全文同时指出本研究的局限性。文章得出的结论是：在全球化的影响下,新加坡人的身份认同问题愈演愈烈,此时这种身份认同困惑已演变成一种身份认同危机,他们已逐渐清醒自己的身份认同归属问题,一个全新的身份认同呼之欲出。最后,这篇论文的目的就是要唤醒在全球化的影响下当代新加坡人的身份意识,为建立一个崭新的身份认同而奋斗!
[Abstract]:Since 1980s, the process of globalization has been advancing rapidly. With the further penetration of globalization, Singaporeans who seek to survive in the gap between East and West are faced with the exchange and collision of East and West cultures. They are also deeply aware of the aggravation of their identity confusion and their strong sense of identity crisis, which urge them to pursue a brand new identity. In view of the lack of research on Singapore's new generation female writer Chen Hui-hui Hwee Tanand and her works at home and abroad, this paper takes globalization as the research background. Based on the theory of identity. From the perspective of culture, this paper discusses the identity problems faced by the protagonists in Chen Huihui's second novel, Mammon Inc., that is, identity puzzlement and identity crisis. Identity seeking and identity reconstruction are especially the problems of cultural identity. Mamen, a Singaporean who graduated from Oxford University, talks about the puzzlement of the life choices faced by a Singaporean girl in the context of globalization. She chose one of the world's largest multinationals, Mamen, and found her identity. The article is composed of the following seven parts: the first chapter is the introduction, involving the research background, research purposes, research significance and methodology, the framework of the article. The second part is a literature review. Including the author, this novel and its domestic and foreign research status and related theories. The third part is the beginning of the text of the article, that is, the embodiment of globalization in the novel. From two aspects, namely, Mamen Company and its three tests, this paper reveals the display of globalization in this text. Part 4th is a study of identity puzzlement and an analysis of the identity confusion of the protagonist. It reflects that under the impact of globalization, the identity confusion of contemporary Singaporeans has become more and more intense. Part 5th deals with the impact of globalization on identity, and reveals the impact of globalization. The identity confusion of Singaporeans has evolved into a crisis of identity, which leads to the loss of self-identity. 6th part consists of identity awakening and identity reconstruction. It highlights the urgency for Singaporeans to face the confusion and crisis of identity and to rebuild their identity ownership. The last chapter is composed of a conclusion which summarizes the limitations of this study. The conclusion is that under the influence of globalization, the problem of Singaporeans' identity has become more and more serious. At this time, the confusion of identity has become a kind of identity crisis. They are gradually waking up to the issue of identity, and a brand new identity is about to emerge. Finally, the purpose of this paper is to awaken the identity consciousness of contemporary Singaporeans under the influence of globalization. Strive for a new identity!
