生态批评视域下的《小世界》

【摘要】：目前，对英国著名小说家兼文学批评家戴维·洛奇的代表作《小世界》的研究可谓蓬勃兴盛，，已经取得的大量成果极大地推动了《小世界》研究的发展。这些研究大多集中在对该小说的主题、主要人物、体裁运用以及后现代主义文学技巧的分析等方面。本文拟在现有研究的基础上，以鲁枢元的生态批评理论为指导，采用生态批评的视角对《小世界》进行解读，进而挖掘蕴含其中的生态意义。生态批评是探讨文学与自然环境之间关系的批评理论，是对文学作品进行生态问题探讨的文学批评范式。它一方面要解决文学与自然环境深层关系问题，另一方面要关注文学艺术与社会生态、文化生态、精神生态的内在关联，而后者是学者鲁枢元生态批评研究的核心所在。鲁枢元的生态批评理论把文学艺术中的生态问题总结为对三种关系的研究，即人与自然、人与人、人与自己内心世界关系的研究。本文以鲁枢元的生态批评理论为指导，通过对《小世界》中自然生态、社会生态、精神生态的研究，探讨该小说中人与自然、人与他人、人与自己内心世界的关系，并得出以下结论：《小世界》中的生态严重失衡；只有柏斯不同于小说中的其他学者，传达了作家对生态危机得到解决的希望。戴维·洛奇在《小世界》中渗透进对各种生态状况的越来越严重的危机意识。小说最后以美好的结局收场，传达出人与人之间关系得到改善、学者的精神病症得到缓解的美好愿望。然而，作家并没有直接提出生态危机解决的出路；由此，《小世界》将人与自然、人与他人、人与自我内心世界关系的和谐作为危机解决的关键所在，而这正是生态文学的永恒主题。本文的研究成果为《小世界》的研究提供了一种新的思路。《小世界》作为校园小说比较有代表性的一部，本研究为其他校园小说的生态研究提供参照。
[Abstract]:At present, on behalf of the famous British novelist and literary critic of David Rocky's "small world" research is booming, a lot of achievements have greatly promoted the development of the small world < >. Most of these studies focus on the theme of the novel, the main characters, the genre and post-modernism literature analysis skills etc. in this paper, on the basis of the existing research on Lu Shuyuan's ecological criticism theory, the interpretation of the "small world > from the perspective of ecological criticism, and excavating the ecological meaning.
Eco criticism is to explore the relationship between literature and the natural environment of literary criticism theory, ecological problems of literary criticism. It must solve the deep relationship between literature and the natural environment, on the other hand to pay attention to the literature and art of social ecology, ecological culture, relation of spiritual ecology, and the latter is the core research scholar Lu Shuyuan ecological criticism lies. Lu Shuyuan's ecological criticism theory to summarize the ecological problems in art and literature for the study of three kinds of relations, namely, man and nature, man and man, the study of the relationship between man and his inner world.
Based on Lu Shuyuan's ecological criticism theory, based on the "small world" natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology research, of man and nature in the novel, man and others, the relationship between man and his inner world, and draw the following conclusions: "serious ecological imbalance in the small world" only; Perth is different from other scholars in the novel, the writer to convey to solve the ecological crisis of hope. David Rocky to penetrate into the ecological situation more and more serious crisis consciousness in the world. The novel < small > finally ended in a happy ending, to convey the relationship between people is improved, scholars of mental illness are good wishes of relief. However, the writer does not directly put forward the way to solve the ecological crisis; thus, < > small world of man and nature, man and others, the relationship between people and the inner world of self harmony as the crisis solution The key to the decision is the eternal theme of ecological literature.
The research results of this paper "Research on small world" provides a new way of thinking. The small world > as campus novel is representative of the comparison, this study provides reference for research of other ecological campus novels.
