【摘要】：国内读者对理查德·赖特并不陌生,主要是因为他的力作《土生子》引起了非常强烈的读者反应,然而国内文学评论家对赖特的作品《土生子》已有了充分研究,而《黑孩子》作为理查德·赖特的自传,于1945年一经出版之后即引起巨大轰动,在地位上是仅次于《土生子》的佳作,但是在国内研究《黑孩子》的论文以及著作却相对较少。著名文学评论家杰里·沃德在《黑孩子》的简介中说：“《黑孩子》(《美国饥饿》)的价值在于《黑孩子》作为自传这一体裁,它提供我们方法去思考法律和习俗,种族融合以及各个种族之间的交流,欲望和心理上的挫败和无畏是怎么样影响我们的生活的。” 自从1945年《黑孩子》问世以来,许多文学评论家从主题、内容、人物和艺术手法等角度对小说进行了评析。然而综观这些研究成果,至今还没有评论家从成长小说这一独特视角对《黑孩子》的成长主题进行深入、细致地探讨。事实上,《黑孩子》中描述了小主人公经历了一系列的事件从而获得成长这样一个故事,反映出人物的思想和心理从幼稚走向成熟的变化过程。本文选择成长主题这一角度切入,从主人公反抗行为的出现,自我的发展以及作为种族代言人的成长来研究作品的成长主题。通过分析黑人小孩理查德这一典型形象,以及他在成长的过程中所遇到的各种困惑与挣扎,本文也分析了黑人小孩如何在种族歧视下的美国社会中寻求生存以及获得身份,进而凸显作品的成长主题这一创作宗旨。论文一共分为三个章节。第一章主要讨论了主人公反抗行为的出现,其中包括对家庭的反抗行为以及宗教控制的反叛态度的出现。第二章详细分析了主人公自我的发展过程,包括获得经济上的独立以及精神上的自我提升。第三章则探讨了主人公开始用写作来表达黑人的政治诉求,然后探寻解决非裔美国人所面临的困境的方式。结语部分总结本文主要观点,同时指出对主人公个人成长历程的研究有助于提高整个社会对黑人小孩成长问题的关注度,因此具有一定的现实意义和社会意义。
[Abstract]:Domestic readers are no stranger to Richard Wright, mainly because his masterpiece, Native son, has aroused a very strong reader reaction, but domestic literary critics have done a lot of research on Wright's work the Native son. And Black Child, as Richard Wright's autobiography, became a huge sensation after it was published in 1945, and was second only to native-born children. But there are relatively few papers and books on Black Kids at home. In a brief introduction to Black Child, a famous literary critic, Jerry Ward, said, "the value of" Black Child "(" American Hunger ") lies in the genre of" Black Child "as an autobiography. It provides us with a way to think about how laws and customs, racial integration and interracial communication, desire and psychological frustration and fearlessness affect our lives. " Since the publication of Black Child in 1945, many literary critics have commented on the novel from the perspectives of theme, content, characters and artistic techniques. Up to now, no critic has gone deep into the theme of "Black Child" from the unique perspective of the growth novel. In fact, the story of the young protagonist who went through a series of events to grow up, It reflects the changing process of the character's thought and psychology from childish to mature. By analyzing the typical image of black child Richard, and the various puzzles and struggles he encountered in his growing up, This paper also analyzes how black children seek to survive and gain identity in the American society under racial discrimination, thus highlighting the theme of the growth of their works. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter mainly discusses the appearance of the hero's rebellious behavior, including the rebellious behavior of the family and the rebellious attitude of the religious control. The second chapter analyzes the self-development process of the protagonist in detail. The third chapter discusses how the protagonist begins writing to express the political aspirations of black people. The conclusion summarizes the main points of this paper, and points out that the study of the protagonist's personal growth course can help the whole society to pay more attention to the problem of black children's growth. Therefore has certain realistic significance and the social significance.
