莫里森《仁慈》的叙事文体研究

【摘要】：托尼·莫里森是第一位获得诺贝尔文学奖的非裔美国女作家。《仁慈》是莫里森于2008年发表的新作，一经出版便成为了文学界关注的焦点。本文以叙事文体学为理论依据，，从叙事学和文体学的重合面即叙事视角和人物话语表达方式对小说中的叙事话语进行描述性分析,并探讨其产生的文体效果。在叙事文体学的理论指导下，本文对小说两个层面的研究发现：（1）在叙事层面，本文着重分析《仁慈》中不同的叙事视角及其产生的文体效果。包括主人公弗罗伦斯的第一人称内视角叙事，核心人物雅各布的第三人称内视角叙事和叙事者的外视角叙事。此外，本论文还对小说中因不同视角的转换和语言的选择所达到的文体效果进行研究。（2）在言语层面，围绕小说中人物的话语表达方式及其文体效果展开分析。主要讨论自由直接引语在小说中的两种表现形式及其不同的文体功能。此外，本论文通过小说中五种人物话语表达方式的互用，包括直接引语，间接引语，自由直接引语，自由间接引语和言语行为的叙述语，讨论不同的叙事形式对塑造人物形象和深化小说主题方面的文体意义。总之，本论文试图结合叙事学与文体学，从叙事视角和人物话语方式两个方面对小说的叙事技巧及其文体功能进行阐述，理论上拓宽了分析文学作品的途径，实践上帮助读者更好地领略莫里森作品《仁慈》中独特的叙事策略及文体风格,并得到对小说更全面的理解。
[Abstract]:Tony Morrison was the first African-American female writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. "Benevolence" was published by Morrison in 2008 and has become the focus of attention in the literary world since its publication. This paper is based on the theory of narrative stylistics. This paper analyzes the narrative discourse in the novel from the perspective of narration and the expression of characters' discourse from the perspective of narration and stylistics and probes into the stylistic effect of the narrative discourse. Under the guidance of the theory of narrative stylistics, this paper studies the two aspects of the novel and finds that: 1) at the narrative level, This paper focuses on the analysis of different narrative perspectives and their stylistic effects in Benevolence, including the first person inner-perspective narration of Florence, the protagonist. In addition, this thesis also studies the stylistic effects of different angles of view and language selection in the novel at the speech level, and the narrative of the third person and the narrator of the narrator from the perspective of the third person and the narrator of the narrator, in addition, the thesis also studies the stylistic effects of the different angles of view and the choice of language in the novel. This paper mainly discusses the two forms of expression and their different stylistic functions of free direct quotation in the novel. In this paper, the author uses five kinds of characters' utterance expressions in the novel, including direct speech, indirect speech, free direct speech, free indirect speech and narrative of speech act. This paper discusses the stylistic significance of different narrative forms in shaping characters and deepening novel themes. In a word, this thesis tries to combine narratology and stylistics to expound the narrative skills and stylistic functions of the novel from the perspective of narrative and the mode of discourse of characters, thus broadening the way of analyzing literary works theoretically. In practice, it helps readers better understand the unique narrative strategy and stylistic style in Morrison's works "Mercy", and get a more comprehensive understanding of the novel.
