性别操演理论视域下的身份认知研究

【摘要】：作为近几年兴起于西方的性别研究的重要一支,性别操演理论对改变人们关于性别本质的深层思维方式和认知模式具有重要的战略意义。1990年朱迪斯·巴特勒在《性别麻烦》中首次提出了性别操演理论,其根本目的在于解构性别的本体概念,同时将性别建构为流动性的和过程性的身份。不论是在性别研究领域,还是在女性主义文学领域,性别操演理论均起到了颠覆性的作用。本论文旨在探索运用性别操演理论分析性别、种族、文化等边缘身份话题的适用性,同时借用《紫色》、《骨》、《孙行者》、《中国娃娃》等美国少数族裔文本研究性别操演理论在文学文本中的适用性和局限性,进一步推进性别操演理论的研究。本论文分为五个部分：第一部分介绍了朱迪斯·巴特勒和她提出的性别操演理论以及其他学者对性别操演理论的相关研究,主要介绍了两种相关理论,即身份扮演理论和社会角色构建论,解释了一些对于性别操演理论的误解,澄清理论本质。第二部分借用文学文本《紫色》分析性别操演理论对性别身份认知的指导作用。在阐述黑人女性茜莉在恶劣的社会环境下进行自我性别认知的过程的同时,进一步阐述男性同样受到社会规范的限制和压抑,从而推翻了传统性别的二元对立模式,提出性别消解才是解决性别身份认知问题的有效方式。第三部分将性别操演理论从性别的单一范畴拓展到种族范畴。利用性别与种族问题的相关性将操演理论运用到对种族问题的探究。借助亚裔美国作家伍慧明的《骨》、汤亭亭的《孙行者》和黄准美的《中国娃娃》,全方位探讨个人种族身份扮演和群体种族身份扮演等问题,开启种族身份认知的新视角。第四部分阐述性别操演理论对于当代性别研究的进一步发展。认为性别操演理论的提出拓展了性别研究范畴,区分了性别的规定性和述行性差异,探索了性别与其他边缘身份研究的动态关系。第五部分对全文进行了总结。性别操演理论作为当代西方性别研究的重要一支,对传统研究范畴的固化模式进行了反思,同时弥补了其对于其他边缘群体的忽视,推动了当前西方性别研究的进一步发展。本论文将性别操演理论从单一的性别范畴进一步延伸到种族身份认知的探究中,扩大了性别操演理论的适用范围,同时运用性别操演理论研究非洲族裔和亚洲族裔女性文学文本,为族裔文学提供了新的视角。此外,在对四部族裔作品进行并置分析的同时,试图发现少数族裔的群体身份特征。促进少数族裔的个人身份认知和集体身份认知。
[Abstract]:As an important branch of gender studies that have emerged in the West in recent years, The theory of gender performance has important strategic implications for changing the way people think and understand the nature of gender. In 1990, Judith Butler first proposed the theory of gender performance in Sex trouble. Its fundamental purpose is to deconstruct the ontological concept of gender, and at the same time to construct gender as a mobile and process identity, both in the field of gender studies and in the field of feminist literature. The purpose of this paper is to explore the applicability of the theory of gender performance to the analysis of marginal identity topics such as gender, race, culture, etc. At the same time, the applicability and limitation of the theory of gender performance in literary texts can be studied by borrowing the theories of "Purple", "Bone", "Sun walker", "Chinese Dolls" and other American minority texts to study the applicability and limitation of the theory. This thesis is divided into five parts: the first part introduces Judith Butler's theory of gender performance and other scholars' research on it. This paper mainly introduces two related theories, identity playing theory and social role construction theory, and explains some misunderstandings about the theory of gender performance. The second part uses the literary text "Purple" to analyze the guiding effect of the theory of gender performance on gender identity cognition. At the same time, it expounds the process of self-gender cognition of black female Celia in the harsh social environment. Further explaining that men are similarly restricted and repressed by social norms, thus overturning the dualistic pattern of traditional gender, The third part extends the theory of gender performance from the single category of gender to the category of race. With the help of Asian American writer Wu Huiming's "Bone", Maxine Hong Kingston's "Sun walker" and Huang Zhi-mei 's "China Doll", we will explore the issues of personal racial identity playing and group racial identity playing. Part 4th expounds the further development of the theory of gender performance for contemporary gender studies. It is believed that the theory of gender exercises has expanded the scope of gender studies and distinguished the prescriptive and behavioral differences between the sexes. This paper explores the dynamic relationship between gender and other marginal identities. Part 5th summarizes the full text. As an important branch of contemporary western gender studies, the theory of gender performance reflects on the solidified mode of the traditional study category. At the same time, it makes up for the neglect of other marginal groups and promotes the further development of the current western gender studies. This thesis further extends the theory of gender performance from a single gender category to the exploration of racial identity. It expands the scope of application of the theory of gender performance, and applies the theory of gender performance to study the literary texts of African and Asian ethnic women, which provides a new perspective for ethnic literature. Try to find the identity of minority groups and promote the individual identity and collective identity of minorities.
