【摘要】:英籍印度作家萨尔曼·拉什迪毫无疑问是二十世纪最伟大的小说家和散文家之一,在文学上取得的成就可以和米兰·昆德拉、加西亚·马尔克斯、君特·格拉斯、乔治·欧文等世界著名作家相媲美。他的作品语言犀利,艺术风格鲜明,他的魔幻现实主义作品《午夜的孩子》更是令其名声大噪。这部小说以独立前后的印度次大陆为背景,以一个家族的命运来折射整个印度次大陆六十多年的历史。本论文主要分析了《午夜的孩子》这部作品中的魔幻现实主义特色,拉什迪如何将魔幻现实主义手法置于后现代主义的戏仿中去解构官方话语,重构印度历史,借此阐明拉什迪对独立前殖民主义和独立后印度面临的各种社会现象的看法,特别是对甘地夫人独裁统治的批判,并提出了他自己对印度未来发展的希冀和梦想——多元的印度。 导论主要介绍了拉什迪及其他最受世人瞩目的作品《午夜的孩子》,详细陈述了国内外对《午夜的孩子》的研究现状,在此基础上阐明了本文的研究目的及意义。 第一章主要阐述魔幻现实主义理论,分析拉什迪与魔幻现实主义大师加西亚·马尔克斯、君特·格拉斯的联系与区别。 第二章详细阐述《午夜的孩子》中魔幻现实主义手法的运用。例如从非线性的时空模式、神奇的意象、宗教典故与神话、虚构和真实事件相融合等方面分析《午夜的孩子》的魔幻现实主义手法。 第三章具体分析拉什迪在《午夜的孩子》中运用魔幻现实主义手法与后现代主义的重要手法戏仿,将真实与虚构的历史杂交,解构意识形态强制下的官方历史从而重新书写印度历史,,剖析拉什迪对印度独立前后的看法和希冀,如:英国在印度的殖民统治的看法、印度独立后面临的政治、社会问题、对甘地夫人独裁统治的谴责以及对未来印度多元化发展的憧憬。 结论最后针对论文进行总结并提出建设性问题。
[Abstract]:British Indian writer Salman Rushdie was no doubt one of the greatest novelists and essayists of 20th century, with literary achievements comparable to those of Milan Kundera, Garcia Marquez, and Gunter Glass. George Owen and other famous writers in the world are comparable. His works are sharp in language and distinctive in style, and his magic realism, Children of the Midnight, has made him famous. The novel is set in the Indian subcontinent before and after independence. The history of the whole Indian subcontinent for more than 60 years is reflected by the fate of one family. How does Rushdie put magic realism in postmodernist parody to deconstruct official discourse and reconstruct Indian history, thereby expounding Rushdie's views on the various social phenomena facing India before independence and after independence? Especially against the dictatorship of Mrs. Gandhi, and put forward his own hope and dream for the future development of India-pluralistic India. The introduction mainly introduces Rushdie and other most popular works, "the Child of midnight", describes in detail the domestic and foreign research status of "the Child at midnight", and on this basis expounds the purpose and significance of this paper. The first chapter deals with the theory of magic realism, and analyzes the relationship and difference between Rushdie and the masters of magic realism, Garcia Marquez and Gunter Glass. The second chapter elaborates on the use of magic realism in Child at Midnight. For example, from nonlinear space-time patterns, magical images, religious allusions and myths, This paper analyzes the magic realism of the Child at midnight from the fusion of fictional and real events. The third chapter concretely analyzes Rushdie's parody of fantasy realism and postmodernism in the Child at Midnight, intermingling the real and the fictional history. Deconstructing the official history imposed by ideology and rewriting Indian history, and analyzing Rushdie's views and hopes on India before and after independence, such as: the British view of colonial rule in India, the political and social problems that India faced after independence. The condemnation of Mrs Gandhi's dictatorship and the prospect of a pluralistic future in India. Conclusion in the end, the thesis is summarized and constructive questions are put forward.
