《月亮宝石》的哥特文学特征及主题研究

【摘要】：威尔基·柯林斯的《月亮宝石》是英国维多利亚时期的一部文学著作。本论文首先介绍《月亮宝石》的写作背景。《月亮宝石》写于维多利亚的中后期，，无论是社会道德的瓦解，还是殖民地的掠夺，又或是工商业文明的毁灭，在《月亮宝石》一书中柯林斯都用幽默的手法对其进行了有效的讽刺与批判。其次论述《月亮宝石》所体现的哥特文学特征。通过对抖动沙滩与恶劣天气的场景描写，恐怖神秘的情节介绍，死亡与超自然的特征分析以及天使与魔鬼的对比等多角度论述《月亮宝石》的哥特文学特征。最后指出，《月亮宝石》虽然不免有着东方主义倾向，有着对殖民地人民的误解和歧视，但作者柯林斯还是保持反帝反殖民的立场，批判了白种人的种族优越感，揭露了英国殖民者的暴行。
[Abstract]:Wilkie Collins' Moonstone is a literary work of the Victorian period in England.This paper first introduces the background of Moon Gem, which is written in the middle and late Victorian period, whether it is the disintegration of social morality, the pillaging of colonies, or the destruction of industrial and commercial civilization.In Moonstone, Collins satirizes and criticizes it with humor.Secondly, it discusses the characteristics of Gothic literature embodied in moon gem.This paper discusses the Gothic literary features of Moon Jewelry through the description of the scene of shaking beach and bad weather, the introduction of horror and mystery, the analysis of the characteristics of death and supernatural, and the comparison between angels and demons.Finally, it is pointed out that although the Moon Gems has an oriental tendency and a misunderstanding and discrimination against the colonial people, Collins still maintains an anti-imperialist and anti-colonial stance and criticizes the racial superiority of the white people.The atrocities of the English colonists were exposed.
