从生态批评视角解读劳伦斯《白孔雀》中的自然观

【摘要】：戴维·赫本·劳伦斯是英国二十世纪初期重要的文学家,他一生著作丰富,包括小说、散文、游记、评论等,几乎涵盖了所有的文学形式。劳伦斯的一生可以说都在为追寻自然生态的栖居之所、回归人的自然本性的过程中度过的。无论是他自身的经历,还是他的文学艺术创作,都表现出回归自然的生态哲思。劳伦斯是一位思想独特的作家,他不仅是一位预言家,清醒认识到科技工业文明破坏自然生态、摧残自然人性的罪恶本质,更是一位拯救者,关注人类的生存和精神状态,并热衷于生态理想之地的探索和人的自然本性的复归。因此,从生态批判的视野下来看劳伦斯,对其生态思想进行深入的研究具有重要意义。《白孔雀》是劳伦斯的第一部作品。该作品拥有精湛的艺术技巧和深刻的思想意蕴,并且成为劳伦斯热爱者一直关注的焦点。生态批评作为一种新兴的文化批评理论,是伴随着当今世界生态危机的频繁出现与对人类与自然之间关系的重新思考而出现的。它是人类希望能够防止和减轻自然灾害,并期望建立一个人与自然万物和谐相处的生态理想家园的愿望在文学批评领域的表现。本论文采用生态批评方法解读劳伦斯小说《白孔雀》中的自然观,认为工业文明为人类带来的是对自然的破坏和对人性的摧残。揭示了人与自然和谐共处的必要性,对人与自然和谐关系的追求,力求唤醒人类的生态意识,达到人与自然的交融。自然环境对人类有重大的利害关系。人类对待自然应抱有热爱之情,怀以敬畏之意。
[Abstract]:David Hepburn Lawrence is an important writer in the early 20th century in England. He has written a lot of works in his life, including novels, essays, travel notes, comments and so on, covering almost all forms of literature. Lawrence's life can be said to be in the pursuit of natural ecological habitat, return to the natural nature of the process. Both his own experience and his literary and artistic creation show the ecological philosophy of returning to nature. Lawrence is a writer with unique thoughts. He is not only a prophet, but also a savior who is aware of the evil nature of science and technology industry civilization that destroys the natural ecology and destroys the nature of human nature. He is also a savior who pays attention to the survival and spiritual state of human beings. And keen on the exploration of ecological ideal land and the restoration of human nature. Therefore, from the perspective of ecological criticism, it is of great significance for Lawrence to deeply study his ecological thought. "White Peacock" is Lawrence's first work. The work has exquisite artistic skills and profound ideological implications, and has been the focus of Lawrence's lover. Ecological criticism, as a new theory of cultural criticism, appears with the frequent emergence of ecological crisis in the world and the rethinking of the relationship between human beings and nature. It is the expression of mankind's desire to prevent and mitigate natural disasters and to build an ecological ideal home where man and nature live in harmony with each other in the field of literary criticism. This paper interprets the view of nature in Lawrence's novel White Peacock by means of ecological criticism and holds that industrial civilization has brought about destruction of nature and destruction of human nature. This paper reveals the necessity of harmonious coexistence between man and nature and the pursuit of harmonious relationship between man and nature in order to awaken the ecological consciousness of human beings and achieve the blending of man and nature. The natural environment has a great stake in mankind. Nature should be treated with love and awe.
