【摘要】：《猫眼》这部小说以“猫眼”象征偏见,描写了主人公伊莱恩如何从他人与自己相互施加的偏见中摆脱出来,并最终完成自我身份的构建。本论文旨在从萨特的存在主义视角对《猫眼》伊莱恩的身份构建过程进行分析。小说中,伊莱恩先是接受了“本质先于存在”的逻辑,在面对他人强加于己的本质时,失去了自己的主体性。而后,她又利用这套逻辑把自己的意志强加给他人,并试图在他人主体性崩溃的基础上建立自己的主体性;然而在“本质先于存在”的逻辑下,她忽略了他人的主体性,并成为他人的地域。最终,伊莱恩经过反思认识到,自己和他人都是“本质先于存在”的受害者。在谅解他人的同时,她也完成了自我的身份构建。通过伊莱恩可以看到,个人主体性的建立不应受到他人意志的影响,而应将存在置于本质之前,在相互尊重、相互理解的基础上让主体性得到完善。本论文分由五部分组成:第一部分主要包括玛格丽特?阿特伍德及其作品简介、文献综述、理论框架和论文结构。第二部分探讨了伊莱恩因接受来自女性和男性的注视而失去自己的主体性,并陷入一个荒谬的世界。第三部分主要论述了伊莱恩剥夺他人的主体性,成为他人的地狱。第四部分分析了伊莱恩意识到人的存在是先于本质的,并开始用理解的眼光看待他人,完成自我身份的构建。第五部是结语,对上述章节进行总结,概括了论文的研究方法、发现、结论和意义。
[Abstract]:The novel describes how Elaine, the protagonist, gets rid of the biases imposed by others and himself, and finally completes the construction of his own identity. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the identity construction process of Elaine from Sartre's existential perspective. In the novel, Elaine first accepts the logic of "essence before being", and loses his subjectivity in the face of the essence imposed on himself by others. Then she uses this logic to impose her will on others and tries to establish her own subjectivity on the basis of the collapse of others' subjectivity; however, in the logic of "essence before being", she ignores the subjectivity of others. And become the territory of others. In the end, Elaine realized that she and others were victims of "essence before being." While understanding others, she also completed self-identity construction. Elaine can see that the establishment of individual subjectivity should not be influenced by the will of others, but should be put before the essence, and the subjectivity should be perfected on the basis of mutual respect and mutual understanding. This thesis consists of five parts: the first part mainly includes Margaret? Atwood and his works brief introduction, literature review, theoretical framework and paper structure. In the second part, Elaine loses her subjectivity and falls into an absurd world because she receives attention from both women and men. The third part mainly discusses that Elaine deprives others of their subjectivity and becomes the hell of others. In the fourth part, Elaine realizes that the existence of human is prior to the essence, and begins to look at others with understanding, and completes the construction of self identity. The fifth part is the conclusion, summarizes the above chapters, summarizes the research methods, findings, conclusions and significance of the paper.
