解读边疆小说《啊,拓荒者!》中的矛盾

【摘要】：作家薇拉·凯瑟在其代表作品《啊,拓荒者!》中用抒情的笔法潜心描写19世纪末美国中西部的拓荒时代生活,从各个侧面描写了美国中西部开拓者与大自然搏斗的艰苦生活,赞颂开拓者顽强的拓荒精神及其高尚的情操,使小说浓缩了美国中西部边疆开拓史,彰显出浓郁的边疆风情,而文中诸多矛盾与冲突的表现也使这部整体基调是鲜艳明亮的小说绽放出独有的光彩。本文详细解读小说中的几对矛盾,以期对作品的研究提供新的方向。
[Abstract]:In her representative work, "O Pioneer!", writer Vera Cather uses lyrical strokes to depict the pioneering life of the American Midwest in the late 19th century, and describes the hard life of the trailblazers in the American Midwest fighting with nature from all sides. Praising the pioneers' tenacious pioneering spirit and their noble sentiments, the novel condenses the history of frontier development in the American Midwest and reveals the rich frontier customs and amorous feelings. Many contradictions and conflicts in the text also make the overall tone bright and bright novel blooming a unique brilliance. This paper interprets several pairs of contradictions in the novel in order to provide a new direction for the study of the works.
