论菲茨杰拉德小说创作中的浪漫主义

【摘要】：弗朗西斯·司各特·菲茨杰拉德是美国著名经典作家。他以长篇小说《人间天堂》一举成名，《了不起的盖茨比》更是他文学生涯的巅峰之作。作为“爵士乐”时代的代言人，，他以独特的人生经历和敏锐的观察力，生动展现了美国20世纪二三十年代的诸多特点，以极具浪漫主义色彩的细腻笔触描绘出迷茫一代年轻人对“梦想”幻灭后的精神状态。他的小说多数以爱情和梦想为主题，既有对人物性格的浪漫主义式探索，也有对“爵士乐”时代繁华背后的冷静审视，本文从菲茨杰拉德作品文本出发，运用浪漫主义想象理论，艾布拉姆斯的表现说等浪漫主义经典理论对菲茨杰拉德小说创作中的浪漫主义进行较为全面的考察，探析作家小说创作中的浪漫主义倾向。通过分析菲茨杰拉德小说中的爱情和梦想主题，指出其小说创作中的浪漫主义特点，即对爱情的想象、孤独反抗者的人物塑造、离奇的情节、浪漫型的象征和隐喻的运用、小说的抒情特色、时间流逝和梦想破灭的感伤等特征，展现其丰富的想象力和浪漫主义情怀。指出菲茨杰拉德并没有逃避现实或是在迷茫中沉沦，也不仅仅追求对现实的忠实反映和批判，而是用爱情梦想揭示拜金主义社会中人性的自私和冷漠，以心灵之灯的丰富感受力折射美国现实社会的光怪陆离，为心灵追求人性本真寻找另一种可能，并渴望走出现实的羁绊，尽可能地接近绚丽的理想世界。
[Abstract]:Francis Scott Fitzgerald is a famous American classic writer. He became famous for his novel Heaven on Earth, and the Great Gatsby was the pinnacle of his literary career. As the spokesman of the "jazz" era, he vividly demonstrated the characteristics of the United States in the 1920s and 1930s with his unique life experience and keen observation. It depicts the mental state of the lost generation of young people after disillusionment with romantic and delicate strokes. Most of his novels focus on love and dream, both the romantic exploration of characters and the cool examination of the prosperous times of "jazz". This paper starts from the text of Fitzgerald's works. Using romanticism imagination theory, Abrams' theory of performance and other romantic classical theories, this paper makes a more comprehensive investigation of romanticism in Fitzgerald's novel creation, and probes into the romantic tendency in the writer's novel creation. By analyzing the themes of love and dream in Fitzgerald's novels, the author points out the romantic features in his novels, that is, the imagination of love, the portrayal of the characters of the lonely resistance, the strange plot, the use of romantic symbols and metaphors. The lyrical features of the novel, the passage of time and the sentimental features of disillusionment reveal its rich imagination and romantic feelings. It is pointed out that Fitzgerald does not escape from reality or sink in confusion, nor does he pursue faithful reflection and criticism of reality, but reveals the selfishness and apathy of human nature in money worship society with his love dream. The rich sensibility of the lamp of the soul reflects the strange and strange nature of the American society, seeks another possibility for the soul to pursue the true humanity, and longs to get out of the fetters of the reality and to approach the gorgeous ideal world as far as possible.
