《双城记》中的节奏研究

【摘要】：《双城记》是狄更斯晚年的巅峰之作,具有错综复杂的节奏美感。到目前为止,国内外对《双城记》中的节奏的研究远未达到系统的要求。本论文选取几个角度更深入地分析《双城记》中节奏的运用以及与节奏浑然一体的主题,以期说明狄更斯对于历史的思考是寄寓于小说的节奏之中的。 本论文由六个部分组成。导言部分简述中外研究现状及存在的问题、选题的来源、研究目的和研究内容。 第一章讨论小说在描述时代时(小说的第一部第一章节)的节奏特点。小说的这一章节不仅介绍了故事发生的历史背景,而且最能表现小说的节奏特点,并且作者对时代的思考也寄寓在快慢,缓急等复杂的节奏交替中。 第二章分析节奏是如何通过双数手法来实现的。本章节讨论了小说中的两个地点和两个人物之间的异同和相互之间的关系。运用双数的手法,不仅可以形成对比,揭示主题,也使得小说的节奏在起伏变化中有规律地运动。 第三章讨论小说在涉及法国大革命时的节奏。法国大革命经历了秘密的准备阶段,激烈的战斗阶段以及暂时的平息阶段。相应地,在描述法国大革命的各个阶段时,节奏也呈现出一种降-升-降的形式。 第四章分析了小说的整体节奏是如何通过死亡主题来实现。小说中至始至终贯穿了一对截然不同的死亡：恐怖的死亡和高尚的死亡。恐怖的死亡揭示的是法国大革命的血腥。高尚的死亡指的是卡顿最后的牺牲。 第五章是论文的总结。不仅对论文的研究背景,研究目的和研究内容进行了简单的回顾,也总结了节奏在《双城记》中的作用。
[Abstract]:The Tale of two cities is the pinnacle of Dickens's old age, with an intricate sense of rhythm. Up to now, the research on rhythm in Tale of two cities is far from the systematic requirement. This thesis chooses several angles to analyze the use of rhythm and its integration with rhythm in Tale of two cities in order to show that Dickens' thinking of history is embodied in the rhythm of the novel. This thesis consists of six parts. The introduction describes the current situation and existing problems of Chinese and foreign research, the origin of the topic, the purpose and content of the research. The first chapter discusses the rhythmic characteristics of the novel in describing the times (the first chapter of the novel). This chapter of the novel not only introduces the historical background of the story, but also can best express the rhythm of the novel, and the author's thinking about the times is embedded in the complex rhythm alternation, such as speed, urgency and so on. The second chapter analyzes how rhythm is realized by even numbers. This chapter discusses the similarities and differences and the relationship between the two places and two characters in the novel. The use of even numbers can not only make a contrast, reveal the theme, but also make the rhythm of the novel move regularly in the ups and downs. The third chapter discusses the rhythm of the novel during the French Revolution. The French Revolution went through a period of secret preparation, a fierce battle, and a temporary pacification. Accordingly, in describing the stages of the French Revolution, rhythm also took on a form of descending-ascending-descending. Chapter four analyzes how the whole rhythm of the novel is realized by the theme of death. The novel runs through a very different pair of deaths: horrific death and noble death. The horrific death revealed the blood of the French Revolution. A noble death is the last sacrifice of Catton. The fifth chapter is the summary of the thesis. Not only the research background, purpose and content of this paper are reviewed, but also the role of rhythm in Tale of two cities is summarized.
