论《玛拉和丹恩历险记》的重复艺术

【摘要】：多丽丝·莱辛(1919.10.22-)被认为是继弗吉尼亚·伍尔芙后最杰出的英国女作家之一。对于她的《玛拉和丹恩历险记》,学者多从生态主义的视角阐释；而有关其艺术手法研究,学者主要集中在对其简单叙述与拖沓情节的批判,系统的研究较少。本文借助J·希利斯·米勒关于小说的重复理论,对《玛拉和丹恩历险记》中的“重复”现象进行梳理,意图丰富其艺术手法研究。 本文认为,《玛拉和丹恩历险记》并非一部情节冗长的作品；在看似简单的叙述背后,它体现出莱辛颇具匠心的重复艺术。重复的意象内容恰展现人类的衣食住行。恶劣的干旱场景反复出现,但与之并行的是主人公奋斗不息的场景。这两个场景形成映衬,将人类坚忍刚毅的精神烘托得更加鲜明。与其它作品在主题或结构上的重复,彰显这部小说的独特之处：用丰富的细节描写,寄予对人类生存基本条件的关注,并赞颂人类的自立精神。此外,对《玛拉和丹恩历险记》中的柏拉图式重复和尼采式重复的探析,有助于理解小说中几类重复现象的归类。总之,《玛拉和丹恩历险记》展现出的重复艺术再次表明莱辛是一个在写作内容、技巧都有所建树的大师,并且她的科幻小说同样具备研究价值。
[Abstract]:Doris Lessing (1919.10.22-) is regarded as one of the most outstanding British women writers after Virginia Woolf. For her Adventures of Mara and Dan, scholars explain it from the perspective of ecologicalism, but the research on its artistic techniques is mainly focused on the criticism of its simple narration and procrastination, and the systematic research is less. With the help of J. Hillis Hans Muller's theory of repetition in novels, this paper combs the phenomenon of repetition in the Adventures of Mara and Dan in order to enrich the study of his artistic techniques. This paper holds that the Adventures of Mara and Dan is not a long story, but it embodies the art of repetition in Lessing's mind behind the seemingly simple narration. Repetition of the image content just shows the human life and clothing. The harsh drought scene appears again and again, but with it is the hero struggle unceasing scene. These two scenes form a backdrop, the spirit of human perseverance to contrast more clearly. The repetition of the theme or structure with other works shows the unique features of the novel: describing with rich details, paying attention to the basic conditions of human existence, and extolling the spirit of human independence. In addition, the analysis of platonic repetition and Nietzsche repetition in the Adventures of Mara and Dan helps to understand the classification of several repetition phenomena in the novel. All in all, the repetition of the Adventures of Mara and Dan demonstrates once again that Lessing is a master of both content and skill, and that her science fiction is also worthy of research.
