论《八月之光》中福克纳的原始情怀

【摘要】：威廉·福克纳被誉为文学史上最具有影响力的作家之一,他出生在美国南部。纵观福克纳的一生,他的十九部长篇与众多短篇小说以及数量稀少的散文与诗歌作品中,有十五部长篇以及大多数的短篇的故事都发生在一个叫做“约克纳帕塔法县”的地方,这个虚构地方发生的故事被人们称作“约克纳帕塔法世系”。他的作品中充满了艺术的想象力和对人类共同问题与命运的关切和思考。他的作品形式独特,构思精巧,研究者众多,研究的方向也是五花八门层出不穷。《八月之光》是福克纳“约克纳帕塔法世系”中的第五部小说,可以说是他里程碑式的杰作,其被认为是福克纳最具影响力的作品,同时也被一些批评家认为是他最好的作品。但是对本书的研究多还停留在对文本的分析,对人物的分析上,本文的重点放在对《八月之光》中原始情怀的探析上。本文采用文本分析法、文本细读法和理论阐释法进行研究,福克纳的作品只有通过不断地重读,才会发现你要寻找的问题。根据本论文的创作需要,详细分析解读书中的各个人物以及他们所代表的人性深处的特点并找出其中原由,在仔细阅读《八月之光》的同时也要多多涉猎福克纳其它具有代表性著作,掌握其写作理论与特点,更好的从理论层面阐释作者在创作《八月之光》时所表露出内心深处的原始情怀。本文通过分析福克纳原始情结的形成,以及创作《八月之光》时的背景,对作品中几个人物进行再次解读,发掘福克纳在他的原始情怀中所包含的批判与反思,以及对人生状况和人类存在的终极意义的探求。最终本文得出,在《八月之光》中所谓的原始情怀,正是以女主人公莉娜身上所体现的优秀品质,即其所闪现的超越道德准则的异教观,她那自然纯真、超然物外的品性,进而指的是自然纯朴恬静的南方社会以及人与人之间最真挚信任的感情,其身上所带有的、所继承的南方社会传统展现的善良、纯真、坚韧、乐观的品质,长久以来积淀的性格特征和文化品质。
[Abstract]:William Faulkner, known as one of the most influential writers in literary history, was born in the southern United States. Throughout Faulkner's life, fifteen and most of Faulkner's 19 long novels and numerous short stories and a scarce number of prose and poetry took place in a place called Yoknapatafa County. The story of this fictional place is known as the Yoknapatafa lineage. His works are full of artistic imagination and concern and thinking about the common problems and destiny of mankind. His works are unique in form, ingenious in conception, numerous in researchers and numerous in research directions. The Light of August is the fifth novel of Faulkner's Yoknapataphaphal lineage, which can be said to be his landmark masterpiece. It is regarded as Faulkner's most influential work, but also by some critics as his best work. However, the study of this book is still focused on the analysis of the text and the analysis of the characters, and the emphasis of this paper is on the analysis of the primitive feelings in the Light of August. This paper adopts text analysis method, text reading method and theoretical interpretation method to study. Faulkner's works only through repeated reading will find the problem you are looking for. According to the writing needs of this thesis, the author analyzes the characters in the book and the characteristics of the human nature they represent, and finds out the reasons. While reading Light in August carefully, we should also dabble in Faulkner's other representative works and master its writing theory and characteristics. A better theoretical interpretation of the author in the creation of August Light revealed the original feelings in the heart. By analyzing the formation of Faulkner's original complex and the background of his creation of Light in August, this paper reinterprets several characters in his works and explores the criticism and reflection contained in Faulkner's original feelings. And the ultimate meaning of life and human existence. Finally, this paper comes to the conclusion that the so-called primitive feelings in Light in August are precisely the outstanding qualities embodied in the heroine Lena, that is, the pagan view that transcends moral norms, her nature is pure and transcendent. Then it refers to the natural, simple and tranquil southern society and the most sincere feelings of trust between people, with the qualities of kindness, innocence, tenacity, optimism, and optimism that the tradition of the southern society has inherited, Long-accumulated personality and cultural qualities.
