《简爱》中的“双性同体”观

【摘要】：《简爱》这部小说自1847年发表以来受到了广大学者和批评家的广泛关注。对其主题的研究大多集中在女性主义方面，并且女性主义者多认为此小说的目的是鼓励女性起来反抗，争取和男性的平等地位。学者对小说中人物的研究主要集中在对女主人公简爱的性格分析，然而近年来，罗切斯特，海伦和伯莎也逐渐受到关注，还有学者从失语角度对伯莎进行分析。也有评论家研究《简爱》中的象征意义，哥特元素和圣经含义。但很少有人从伍尔夫的“双性同体”理论的角度来分析《简爱》。本文从双性同体角度分析简爱和罗切斯特这两个人物的双性同体性格的演变过程和他们最后达到两性和谐相处的模式，更能突出夏洛蒂·勃朗特的对两性关系做出的探索。这一探索在当今社会也有极大的现实意义。同时从海伦和伯利克赫斯特两个人物的研究上更突出了传统两性对立的弊端，进一步证明了伍尔夫的双性同体理论的积极意义。 此篇论文旨在从伍尔夫的“双性同体理论”的角度，分析了《简爱》这部作品中男女主角双性同体的性格特征和两个人经历过矛盾和斗争后达到的更高的两性和谐相处模式，消除了二元对立的传统两性模式，实现了女性主义者一直追求向往的两性平等，和谐共处的美好愿望。论文第一章简要介绍了作者夏洛蒂·勃朗特和其作品《简爱》以及对《简爱》这部作品的研究现状。第二章主要介绍了19世纪英国女性主义的特点和双性同体在不同领域的应用。重点介绍了伍尔夫在文学领域对双性同体思想的阐述和意义。第三章主要介绍了《简爱》中所蕴含的双性同体思想。首先介绍了传统的性别二元对立以及两位典型的代表人物，其次对简爱的双性同体性格特点的形成发展分阶段进行分析描述，然后对罗切斯特的双性同体思想进行了分析，最后对两性的和谐统一以及双性同体思想在这部小说中的意义进行了阐述。 最后一章总结了简爱这一双性同体的新女性形象为女性树立了新的典范，，使女性从传统的性别模式和性别歧视中解放出来。伍尔夫的双性同体思想更高度赞扬两性和谐共处所体现的精神上的完全平等。《简爱》中罗切斯特和简爱完美结合正是所有女性主义者所追求的最理想的两性相处模式。
[Abstract]:Jane Eyre has attracted wide attention from scholars and critics since its publication in 1847. The research on its theme is mostly focused on feminism, and feminists think that the purpose of this novel is to encourage women to rise up and fight for equal status with men. Scholars mainly focus on the character analysis of Jane Eyre, the heroine. However, in recent years, Rochester, Helen and Bertha have been paid more and more attention, and some scholars have analyzed Bertha from the angle of aphasia. Critics also study the symbolic, Gothic and biblical meanings of Jane Eyre. But few people analyze Jane Eyre from the perspective of Woolf's androgyny theory. This paper analyzes the evolution process of the androgynous character of Jane Eyre and Rochester from the perspective of androgyny, and their mode of achieving a harmonious relationship between the two sexes, which highlights Charlotte Bronte's exploration of the relationship between the two sexes. This exploration also has the great realistic significance in the present society. At the same time, the study of Helen and Belize Kochester accentuates the disadvantages of traditional gender antagonism, and further proves the positive significance of Woolf's theory of androgyny. From Woolf's theory of androgyny, this paper aims to analyze the characters of androgynous characters in Jane Eyre and the higher patterns of harmonious coexistence between the two men and women after they have experienced contradictions and struggles. It eliminates the traditional gender pattern of dualism and realizes the fine desire of feminists to pursue gender equality and harmonious coexistence all the time. In the first chapter, the author Charlotte Bronte and his works Jane Eyre and the present situation of the research on Jane Eyre are briefly introduced. The second chapter mainly introduces the characteristics of British feminism in the 19 th century and the application of androgyny in different fields. This paper mainly introduces Woolf's theory of androgyny in the field of literature. The third chapter mainly introduces the idea of androgyny contained in Jane Eyre. First of all, it introduces the traditional gender duality and two typical representative characters. Secondly, it analyzes and describes the formation and development of Jane Eyre's characteristics of androgyny, and then analyzes Rochester's idea of androgyny. Finally, the author expounds the harmony and unity of both sexes and the significance of androgyny in the novel. The last chapter summarizes Jane Eyre, a new female image of both sexes, which sets a new model for women and frees them from the traditional gender pattern and sexism. Woolf's idea of androgyny highly praised the spiritual equality embodied in the harmonious coexistence of the two sexes. In Jane Eyre Rochester and Jane Eyre are the perfect combination of the two sexes which is the most ideal mode of gender coexistence pursued by all feminists.
