【摘要】：在小说《红字》中,作家霍桑用一系列象征意象来阐释作品的内涵主题,《红字》的象征意象具有多重涵义并带有鲜明特征。红字符号暗含着情节与人物、环境之间的关系,架构起整部小说的内容。象征主义的成功运用,使《红字》的内涵达到一定高度,成为经久不衰的文学经典。
[Abstract]:In the novel the Scarlet letter the writer Hawthorne uses a series of symbolic images to explain the connotation theme of his works. The symbolic images of the Scarlet letter have many meanings and have distinct characteristics. The red letter symbolizes the relationship between plot, character and environment, and constructs the content of the whole novel. The successful use of symbolism makes the connotation of the Scarlet letter reach a certain height and become an enduring literary classic.
