　　自1936年出版以来,玛格丽特·米切尔的传世之作——《飘》一直被许多读者认为是最喜爱的长篇小说,并受到公众的肯定与赞誉。该书的成功在于其跌宕起伏的情节以及成功塑造了斯佳丽这一鲜活生动的人物形象。小说叙述了斯佳丽的成长过程。而这个过程也是其形成女性意识的过程。斯佳丽从一个懵懂少女逐渐成长为一位成熟,独立的女性。其成长轨迹从一个侧面反映了妇女寻求独立和解放的过程。西蒙娜·德·波伏娃在其论著《第二性》中提到：女人并不天生是女人,而是变成女人的。女人被看做是附属的人,是同主要者(the essential)相对立的次要者(the inessential)。男人是主体(the subject),是绝对(the Absolute),而女人则是他者(the Other)。而妇女寻求独立和解放的道路是充满艰辛的。只要女性气质照这样一直存在,男女间的不和就会继续下去。男性将不会平等地对待女性,反之亦然。 本文根据西蒙娜·德·波伏娃的女性主义理论,通过对《飘》的主人翁斯佳丽成长过程的分析,从女性主义的视角探讨女性寻求独立和解放的问题。现实社会中有许多同斯佳丽一样,不甘于“他者”身份,追求独立和解放的女性...
