计算机辅助外语教学在初中英语教学中的个案研究

【摘要】:随着科技的飞速发展,信息技术已经被广泛应用于生活的方方面面。根据现代教育理论,教育与科技的结合已成必然,计算机辅助英语教学(CALL)在教育领域的作用越来越凸显。为了更好的了解当前我国初级中学计算机辅助英语教学发展的真实情况,作者选择了江西省南昌市南钢中学作了深入的调查研究。调查对象包括学校管理者,英语教师和学生。本研究拟研究的问题是:1)当前我国初级中学英语教学中CALL的发展现状是怎样的?2)在我国初级中学中,英语教师在使用计算机辅助英语教学时的困难是什么?通过观察法,问卷法及访谈法,调查显示:1)国内初级中学的硬件设备比较完善,但是它的价值却没有得到很好的发挥。而且学校校园网不通畅。虽然教师和学生都对计算机辅助英语教学持乐观积极的态度,但是许多英语老师忽略PPT设计的合理性,而且许多老师使用在授课中同一个模板。2)虽然英语教师已普遍使用CALL教学,大多数学生也接受CALL教学,但在CALL教学中,英语教师存在最主要的问题是计算机应用水平普遍不高。另外在CALL课堂,许多老师没有控制好讲课速度,存在教师讲课速度过快,师生之间的交流变少的问题。根据调查,建议如下:1)完善校园网络系统,为教师使用网络查找教学资料提供便利。同时,学校应鼓励教师设计适合自己学生的PPT,并组织大赛评比。2)增加对教师教育技术培训的投入。英语教师计算机水平的高低直接影响计算机辅助英语教学效果的大小,所以提高英语教师的计算机应用能力很有必要。此外,要正确处理CALL与传统英语教学的关系。教师要注意讲课速度及与学生的互动交流情况。CALL不能取代传统教学,它只能起到“辅助”的作用。英语教师在教学中要将CALL与传统教学有机结合起来。这样,CALL在初中英语教学中的应用才能发挥出真正的作用。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of science and technology, information technology has been widely used in all aspects of life. According to modern education theory, the combination of education and technology has become inevitable. Computer-assisted English teaching (CALLL) plays a more and more important role in the field of education. In order to better understand the current development of computer-assisted English teaching in junior middle schools in China. The author selected Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province Nangang Middle School for in-depth investigation and research, including school administrators. English teachers and students. The question to be studied in this study is: (1) what is the current situation of CALL in English teaching in junior middle schools in China? 2) what are the difficulties for English teachers in using computer assisted English teaching in junior middle schools in China? Through observation method, questionnaire method and interview method, the investigation shows that the hardware equipment of junior middle school in China is relatively perfect. But its value has not been well developed, and the school campus network is not smooth. Although both teachers and students have a positive attitude towards computer-assisted English teaching. But many English teachers ignore the rationality of PPT design, and many teachers use the same template. 2) although English teachers have widely used CALL teaching. Most students also accept CALL teaching, but in the CALL teaching, the most important problem is that the computer application level is generally not high. In addition, in the CALL classroom. Many teachers do not control the speed of lectures, there are problems of teachers teaching too fast, the communication between teachers and students become less. According to the survey, it is suggested as follows: 1) improve the campus network system. At the same time, the school should encourage teachers to design PPT suitable for their students. And organize contest evaluation. 2) increase the input to teachers' educational technology training. The level of English teachers' computer level directly affects the effect of computer-assisted English teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the computer application ability of English teachers. To correctly handle the relationship between CALL and traditional English teaching, teachers should pay attention to the teaching speed and interaction with students. Call cannot replace traditional teaching. English teachers should combine CALL with traditional teaching in order to play a real role in the application of call in junior middle school English teaching.
