学生视角下梧州地区高中英语作业现状调查研究

【摘要】:英语作业是高中英语教学的重要环节之一,对课堂教学起到补充、延续、扩展、提升的作用,有利于促进学生发展。此外,作业还是推进英语课程改革的重要途径。现阶段高中英语作业质量如何,是否符合学生的喜好将直接影响英语作业在实现教学目标、激发学生动机等方面的效果。但是,由于一些学校出于保密,“作业”一直被视为“黑匣子”。教师更多关注教学方法、教学策略等方面,容易忽视作业的重要性。因此,基于学生的视角,本文试图对高中英语作业的现状进行研究,探讨学生心目中的作业与作业现状的差距,以期能为英语教师在教学中提高学生英语作业动机提出可参考的科学建议。本文基于人本主义和动机理论展开研究,人本主义理论强调以学生为中心,尊重人的个性发展。而动机理论强调如何正确培养学生的内部动机,促进学生更有效地完成作业。本文采用问卷调查法对梧州地区220名高中生进行的问卷调查。问卷设计主要参考了夏雪梅编著的有关作业研究的维度,从英语作业类型、英语作业内容、英语作业的完成方式,英语作业批改与反馈以及英语作业的选择性六个维度对高中英语作业进行研究。本研究以期解决两个问题:(1)现阶段梧州地区高中英语作业的现状如何?(2)梧州地区高中英语作业的现状与学生的喜好是否存在差异?若存在,主要表现在哪些方面?根据对问卷收集的数据进行整理分析,研究结果表明:现阶段梧州地区高中英语作业的存在不少问题,包括英语作业类型、内容等不够丰富多样;作业内容倾向于知识与考试,缺乏趣味性;从英语作业的设计、布置到评价,学生缺乏发言权、选择权和参与权。学生的作业兴趣与现状间的差距较大,主要表现在现阶段的作业类型、作业内容、作业批改方式未能满足学生的兴趣与期待。基于以上的发现,笔者针对高中英语作业的现存问题提出了四个可参考性的建议,包括丰富作业类型以发展学生多元智力、进行作业分层增加学生作业的选择性、指导学生养成良好的作业习惯、避免消极的作业评价。
[Abstract]:English homework is one of the important links in English teaching in senior high school. It can supplement, continue, expand and promote the teaching of English in high school. In addition, it is helpful to promote the development of students. Homework is also an important way to promote the reform of English curriculum. At this stage, the quality of English homework in senior high school and whether it conforms to students' preferences will directly affect the effect of English homework in achieving teaching goals and motivating students. Because of the secrecy of some schools, "homework" has always been regarded as a "black box". Teachers pay more attention to teaching methods, teaching strategies and other aspects, and tend to ignore the importance of homework. This paper attempts to study the present situation of English homework in senior high school, and to explore the gap between homework and homework in students' minds. This paper is based on the theory of humanism and motivation, which emphasizes the student-centered approach. The theory of motivation emphasizes how to correctly cultivate students' internal motivation. In this paper, 220 senior high school students in Wuzhou are investigated by questionnaire. The questionnaire design mainly refers to the dimensions of homework research compiled by Xia Xuemei, and analyzes the types of English assignments. English homework content, English homework completion, This study aims to solve two problems: 1. What is the present situation of senior high school English homework in Wuzhou? (2) are there any differences between the present situation of English homework and students' preferences in Wuzhou? If so, what are the main aspects? According to the data collected by the questionnaire, the results show that there are many problems in English homework in Wuzhou area at present, including the types of English assignments, the content of English assignments and so on, the content of which is inclined to knowledge and examination. Lack of interest; from the design, layout to evaluation of English homework, students lack the right to speak, choose and participate. Based on the above findings, the author puts forward four suggestions for reference to the existing problems of English homework in senior high school, including enriching the types of assignments to develop students' multiple intelligence. To increase the selectivity of students' homework, to guide students to form good work habits and to avoid negative evaluation of homework.
