高中生批判性思维倾向与跨文化意识的相关性研究

　　 语言是思维的载体,跨文化交际能力不仅需要较强的外语沟通能力,更需要良好的批判性思维能力。“批判性思维能力可以通过对跨文化问题的探究而有效提升,跨文化交际能力则可以通过批判性思维能力的提升而提升,两者相互促进,相得益彰”(孙有中,2015)。但国内大多数研究都集中在研究批判性思维能力和跨文化交际能力的现状以及培养方式上,很少有研究将批判性思维能力和跨文化交际能力结合起来。但是二者都属于宏观概念,需要运用多种工具在多个维度上进行测量。因此,笔者各选择其中一个维度即批判性思维倾向和跨文化意识,并对他们的相关性进行研究,来探讨批判性思维倾向对外语教学和跨文化意识的影响。本研究试图回答以下三个问题:1.高中生批判性思维倾向的现状如何?2.高中生跨文化意识的现状如何?3.高中生批判性思维倾向与跨文化意识是否具有相关性?如果有,哪两个维度的相关性最高?为了回答以上研究问题,本研究以师大附中240名高二年级学生作为研究对象,共调查了四个班,两个文科班两个理科班。通过批判性思维倾向问卷和跨文化意识问卷收集数据,利用SPSS 22.0对问卷数据进行分析,并对8名学生进行了访谈。研究结果表明:1.高中生的批判性思维倾向总体处于中等偏上水平(M=3.539),批判性思维倾向的七个维度也均处于中等偏上水平,其中,开放性(M=3.842)处于较高水平。理科生的批判性思维倾向略高于文科生,但是两者之间并没有显著性差异。2.高中生的跨文化意识总体处于中等偏上水平(M=3.792),跨文化意识的五个维度也均处于中等偏上水平,其中,文化融入(M=4.04)和尊重文化差异(M=4.08)处于较高水平。文科生的跨文化意识略高于理科生,但是两者之间并没有显著性差异。3.批判性思维倾向和跨文化意思具有相关性,相关性系数为0.499,存在中度相关。其中,开放性和尊重文化差异之间相关性最高,相关性系数为0.503,寻求真理性与文化融入之间的相关性最低,相关性系数为0.181。最后,笔者根据研究结果给出了一些有助于高中生批判性思维倾向和跨文化意识发展的建议,并论述了该研究的局限性及未来研究方向。
