中美政治语篇中概念隐喻的对比研究

　　隐喻研究一直是全世界语言学家关注的焦点。近几十年来,隐喻的相关研究取得了巨大的进步。当代认知语言学家认为,隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,而且是一种思维方式和认知手段。隐喻普遍存在于我们的日常生活之中,存在于我们的思维和语言之中。我们赖以思考和行动的概念体系从根本上说也存在隐喻。因此,政治语言从本质上来说也是存在隐喻的。 从亚里士多德开始,人们已经对隐喻进行了多方面的理论研究。亚里士多德的两本闻名于世的著作《修辞学》和《诗学》标志着对隐喻的系统性研究的开始。在这两部著作中,亚里士多德这样描写道：“隐喻是引领我们学习的优美词汇”,“掌握隐喻是天才的象征”(Aristotle,1954:22)。然而,亚里士多德只是将隐喻界定为一种起到美化语言作用的修辞格,而低估了隐喻的其他意义。二十世纪三十年代,伴随着《修辞哲学》的出版,作为认知语言学先驱的Richard强调“思想的隐喻性”,并称“离开隐喻,我们甚至无法理解普通语篇里的三个句子”(Richard,1936:94)。而Lakoff和Johnson将隐喻研究推向了更高峰。伴随着《我们赖以生存的隐喻》的发表,隐喻研究翻开了新的篇章,实现了从修辞作用的...
