通过课外自主阅读提高高中生英语阅读能力的个案研究

在外语学习中,阅读能力既是语言能力的一个重要方面,也是语言学习的有效手段。尽管阅读的重要性已经得到了广泛的认可,但学生的英语阅读实践中仍存在许多问题,例如缺乏阅读兴趣,阅读能力不足,阅读效率低下等。因此,学生阅读能力的发展仍然不乐观。为了改善高中生英语阅读的现状,我们不仅应依靠课堂上有限的阅读材料的输入,而且还需在课外进行广泛的阅读实践。因此,利用英语课外阅读来提高学生的阅读兴趣和能力的有效性是一个值得研究的问题。本文将英语课外阅读运用到高中生的阅读学习中,主要目的在于探讨课外阅读对高中生英语阅读学习的影响。研究首先选取了芜湖市F中学高一年级一个班的学生为研究对象探究目前英语课外阅读的发展现状。随后从学校中选取六位学生(高、中、低英语水平各两名)作为个案研究的对象,进行了课外自主阅读实验。本研究试图回答以下三个问题:(1)目前高中英语课外阅读现状如何?(2)英语自主课外阅读对提高学生的英语阅读能力是否有积极作用?(3)自主课外阅读对不同英语水平学生的阅读素养是否有不同的影响?课外阅读实验研究持续了 12周。在研究期间,四种工具被使用:问卷调查,访谈,阅读测试和跟踪观察。实验结束后,利用...
