词汇推断策略在初中英语阅读教学中的运用实证研究

  阅读是获取信息的主要方法之一,对提高学习者的英语水平起着重要作用。但需要指出的是,中国大多数初中生对英语阅读的兴趣不高,动力不足,尤其是课外英语阅读。当前,生词被认为是学生成功理解阅读材料的最大障碍,学生迫切需要掌握的是如何在阅读中有效地处理生词。因此,指导初中生采用适当的词汇推断策略来推断生词的含义非常必要。到目前为止,大量研究者将注意力放在调查学习者使用词汇推断策略的现状,但是仍不清楚英语水平的不同如何影响学习者的推断行为,包括词汇推断策略使用类型和频率两个方面。此外,国内外几乎所有研究者都已经证实,词汇推断策略训练可以提高学习者的词汇推断能力,但是,哪个水平的学习者可以从词汇推断策略训练中受益更多,仍然值得深入研究。在以往研究的基础上,提出以下三个研究问题:(1)初中生使用词汇推断策略的现状如何?(2)不同水平的初中生使用词汇推断策略有什么区别?(3)词汇推断策略训练如何影响初中生的词汇推断能力?杭州一所初中的两个平行班共78名九年级学生参加了该实验。首先,通过问卷和访谈1,调查初中生使用词汇推断策略的现状。其次,将参与者分为三组,即高水平组,中水平组和低水平组,通过词汇推断测试...
